Tashia Hart

Tashia Hart is a member of the Red Lake Band of Anishinaabeg. She writes food essays and recipes for various tribal programs and is currently authoring a wild rice and wild foods cookbook in partnership with the Minnesota Historical Society Press, scheduled for release in 2021. Her newest book, the middle grade novel Gidjie and the Wolves (April 2020), is a fantastical culinary adventure set in the Great Lakes region.
