Polly Campbell was the dining and food writer at the Cincinnati Enquirer from 1996 to 2020. She covered the quirks of Cincinnati's food heritage as well as the dining revolution of the past decade. Born in Los Angeles, she grew up in Bloomington, Indiana, and went to college at the University of Kansas and Indiana University. After a stint working in publishing and community development in New York City, she came back to the Midwest, where she feels most at home. She lives with her husband in Cincinnati She is the author of the new “Cincinnati Food: A History of Queen City Cuisine” from The History Press.
