Cassandra Brooklyn is a writer, guidebook author and the owner of EscapingNY, a small international tour company. She was born and raised in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, where her mother frequently caught her sitting in the refrigerator, eating sticks of butter and blocks of cheese. She currently lives in New York City.
