John Joseph is a freelance writer who has contributed hundreds of outdoor-related articles to a variety of publications. His work is mainly in product field testing, descriptions, and reviews. John’s latest passion and hobby is harvesting black walnuts from his family’s tree farm in western Wisconsin. He lives in Saint Paul, Minnesota and enjoys hiking, foraging, gardening, hunting, fishing, cooking and playing family games with his wife of twenty-one years and his thirteen-year-old son.
